I log my expenses by talking now

I never kept track of what I spent because opening a spreadsheet is the most boring thing in the world. Every app I tried had a nice onboarding, a colorful pie chart, and then three weeks later my last entry was still the coffee I bought in March. The problem was not the tool. The problem was the friction. So we built Ledger for people like me.

Just say it out loud

The whole feature is one habit. You spend money, you say it. Twelve euros on lunch. Thirty on gas. Two hundred on the new headphones. You get paid, you say it too. Four hundred from a client. Ninety on that consulting call. That is it. No form, no category picker, no receipt upload, no import from a bank you do not want to connect.

Where the data actually goes

Keak writes a clean row into a file that lives in your own folder. You pick the folder the first time and forget about it. Every entry becomes a line with the date, the amount, the currency, the type, and a short note. It is a normal file you can open in any spreadsheet, back up to any cloud, or hand to your accountant. Nothing about your money sits on our side.

The month feels different

By the end of the first month I already had more entries than in any full year I had ever tried tracking. Not because I was disciplined, but because talking is not work. When the month closes I have a real record. I know where the money went. I know which client paid and which one still owes me. And I never opened a spreadsheet to get there.
