Your voice never leaves your computer
The free version of Keak runs the whole thing on your own machine. Offline, private, and free forever.

I was paying about 20 euros a month just to talk to my computer and have it type for me. Then it ran out of credits mid sentence and I thought, why am I renting this.
So I built Keak, and I did one thing differently. The free version runs the whole thing on your own machine.
You hold two keys, you talk, clean text drops in wherever your cursor is. Any app, any language. The difference is where it happens. There's no server in the middle. Your voice gets turned into text right there on your laptop, offline, and nothing ever gets uploaded. No account needed for it to work, no meter running, no monthly bill for the words you say.
That means two things people actually care about. It's private, because your voice never touches the internet. And it's free forever, because the only thing dictation really costs is the transcription, and when that runs on your own computer it costs me nothing, so I don't charge you for it.
If you want the easy path, there's a paid plan at 4,99 a month. That one runs in the cloud, so there's nothing to install and it's instant. You get 3 hours a month and priority speed. Most people who pay just want it to work the second they open the app, and that's fair.
But the point is this. You can talk to your computer all day, in any language, and have it write for you, for zero euros, without a single word leaving your machine. That wasn't really possible a year ago. It is now.
