I think in Catalan and Spanish, and I write to people in English most of the day. For years my workflow was the same clumsy loop. Type in one language, paste into a translator, fix the awkward bits, paste back. It worked, but it broke my flow every single time. Now I just talk in whatever language is in my head and Keak writes it out in the one I need.
Pick the output language, then speak
There is a small dropdown on the mic where you pick the language you want to write in. English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and more. You leave it on English if that is the language of your work, or switch it depending on who you are writing to. Then you hold the shortcut, speak, and the clean text drops into whatever app you are in.
It translates in the same breath
Keak transcribes what you actually said, then rewrites it in the language you chose in one pass. You do not see a raw transcript first, you do not paste anywhere, you do not switch apps. The version that lands in your document is already polished and already in the right language. It feels less like translation and more like your thoughts arriving in a different accent.
Why this changes the day
If you work across languages, you know how much energy the switching costs. The extra tab. The little tax on every message. When that friction disappears, you start writing more, faster, and with more of your own voice, because you did not have to filter the idea through a language you do not think in.
